Offers a cooling center, with air conditioning, during heat emergencies. Also offers “hot tickets” which are used for free transportation to cooling centers (Jackson County Department on Aging, King Recreation Center, JATA Transfer Station, and Jackson District Library – Carnegie Branch).

Offers a place for community to get relief from either extreme cold or extreme heat weather emergencies and mass power outages. Meals and showers are provided as needed. It is requested that guest bring personal blankets, pillows, medication, and toiletries. Guests may use the facility without spending the night.
