New Provider Benefit – DCW Emergency Support
Urgent financial assistance is now available for direct care workers!
WellWise Services is excited to introduce a new provider benefit designed to support your direct care workforce during unexpected challenges.
When a direct care worker (DCW) experiences an urgent financial setback—such as a dead car battery or other emergency—it can disrupt their ability to get to work and provide care. Through a grant awarded to IMPART Alliance by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, using American Rescue Plan Act / Home and Community Based Services Project funds, and in partnership with the Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan (4AMI), WellWise Services can now offer reimbursement to providers who help their employees cover urgent expenses.
With this grant, employers can immediately assist with the cost and be reimbursed up to $500. The faster a DCW can get back on the road, the sooner they can focus on the participants they serve.
