Designed for all cancer survivors regardless if they are recently diagnosed, in active treatment, or living beyond treatment. In this interactive workshop, people are taught effective tools to better self-manage their condition and its impact on their life. We address topics such as relationships and communication, living with uncertainty, managing difficult emotions, and more! Caregivers and significant others are also welcome to sign up and attend as active participants. Each workshop meets 2.5 hours one day a week for 6 weeks.
Designed for people with chronic pain. In this interactive workshop, people are taught effective tools to better self-manage their condition and its impact on their life. Managing chronic pain is more than taking medications. We address a variety of topics including fatigue management, dealing with difficult emotions, and pacing & planning. Includes the Moving Easy Program: safe exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance. Caregivers and significant others are also welcome to sign up and attend as active participants. Each workshop meets 2.5 hours one day a week for 6 weeks.

Dementia Friends USA is a nationwide movement changing the way people think, act, and talk about dementia. By incorporating Dementia Friends into open, accessible communities, those living with dementia and those who care about them continue to be active participants in the communities in which they reside. This free, 1-hour presentation can be provided to businesses and groups wanting an introduction to dementia so we all can better understand how to recognize, assist, and effectively support people with dementia in our community.
This 3-part webinar will meet once a week for 1.5 hours each week. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of the impact of dementia on the brain and feel more equipped with skill-building ideas to put to use for more effective and engaging caregiving practices as care providers to someone with dementia.
