Friendly Reassurance provides regular contact with homebound older adults to assure wellbeing, and safety and provide companionship.

  • Older adults, 60 years and older
  • Must be considered homebound
  • Regular contacts can occur weekly, bi-weekly or monthly
  • Friendly Reassurance listeners are well-trained and comprised of both volunteers and WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging staff  members
  • Older adults are thoughtfully matched with Friendly Reassurance listeners to promote compatibility
  • Helps to reduce social isolation
  • NO income eligibility requirements
