Board of Directors

The Board of Directors at WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging provides oversight and governance in upholding the mission of supporting older adults, adults with disabilities and their caregivers to live safely and independently.

The regular term for a Board Member is two years. The Board of Directors consists of people who have been appointed by County Commissioners.

The Board of Directors meets monthly during the 3^rd full week of the month on Thursdays at 2:00pm.

Advisory Council

The Advisory council reports to the Board of Directors and upholds the mission of supporting older adults, adults with disabilities and their caregivers to live safely and independently.

Some duties of the Advisory Council include reviewing and commenting on the Area Plan, contributing to public hearings and forums on the need of those in the region, reviewing and commenting on community policies, programs, and actions which affect those we serve, and researching and recommending additional resources.

The regular term for members is two calendar years with the option of renewal. Members receive a stipend for each meeting attended and are reimbursed for the cost of attending meetings, based on mileage.
